Professional Development is a key pillar for the National Association of BEE Consultants (NABC) in providing a benchmark for minimum levels of skill and education amongst its members. Companies dealing with BEE advisors, practitioners and consultants are encouraged to work with registered BEE practitioners. The BEE 101 course provides an introductory programme for individuals with limited or no exposure to BEE to understand the legislation, related legislated and have a deep understanding of the requirements of Black Economic Empowerment.
This course is delivered every second month in 3 cities nationally and members are encourage to ensure that all new staff are engaged in this critical learning. Join industry peers and colleagues in developing this grassroots understanding of the legislative environment and understand the practical implications for its application.

The NABC BEE 101 Course is designed to develop skills in the area of Black Economic Empowerment. It is a fully comprehensive and intense three day course. The course will be assessed by means of an exam which will be evaluated and a certificate provided upon successful completion of the course. Key to developing skills in an industry such as this, the programme delivers a personalised process of assessment and mentorship. Participants in the programme will receive the following:

- An expert facilitator will train delegates in all of the regulatory and legislative issues that impact on BEE
- Course assignments will measure the individual’s grasp of the technical and practical concepts in order to ensure that they are meeting the minimum criteria;
- All participants are linked to information and ongoing development through the NABC network.
- Once registered – delegates will be entitled to preferential membership
